Puerto de la Duquesa is a delightful marina location enjoying year-round sunshine on the southern coast of Spain. La Duquesa will appeal above all to people of all ages seeking a relaxed waterside environment, where standards are high and facilities good. Any time of year is fine – Winter is warm & sunny (occasional rain in January early February) and peaceful. Very popular with sailors and golfers – Duquesa Golf has hosted the Ryder Cup for example. Summers can be very hot – often preferred by younger clients, and local holiday makers, when the port can get very busy and lively, particularly during festive seasons. Check with us first if you are unsure about coming in July / Aug as part of a longer stay for example.
You will find a number of interesting activities, sports and entertainments available right on the doorstep at or near the port – including short day walking / hiking expeditions in the local hills, on the local golf course or for sailing courses.
