Puerto de la Duquesa (Port of the Duchess) is 75 km from Malaga airport - mostly motorway and takes about an 50 mins to drive. Gibraltar is much nearer, and takes only 20 minutes. Other means of transport, by bus and taxi, are also very convenient.

The Southern Costas are now well established as a year round golfing destination - with more than 25 courses over the 75 mile stretch of coastline. For golfing members, the first tee at Golf Duquesa is literally a five minute walk from our studio accommodation!.

Access to all these local facilities are part of the same development, with non-member rates available during your stay. The adjacent public beach is also very popular with visitors. and managed by the local council. The nearby fishing village of El Castillo (Duquesa historic castle), and the villages of Sabinillas, the Roman Oasis, and Manilva, and are all with easy promenade or walking distance along the seaside - where you will also find supermarkets, fine restaurants and a daily market.
